Thank you for playing Drunken Ducklings! This is the privacy policy, where I describe how we collect, use, and handle your personal information when you use my application.
Drunken Ducklings is a party / drinking game developed by Joep Eijkemans. The game is developed in Unity 2020.1.7f1 in C# (Using JetBrains Rider). The artwork was created using PiskelApp.com (A free online pixel art tool). It is only available on Android, with no intention of ever getting published to IOS. In the game, you play as a little duckling. You throw a dice and move across a board. Each time you land on a tile, you'll get a card. The cards have tasks like "Drink 2" or "The oldest player drinks 1". Each card falls into one or more categories. These categories can be disabled to make the game suitable and fun in many different situations. For more information on the categories, see the "About" section of the app.
Aside from the app-related data that is collected by the play store itself (things like: number of downloads, app rating, devices on which the app is downloaded, etc.), our application does not collect or share any data. To elaborate: Our app is a one way street. Aside from the downloading of the app itself, no internet is required to use this app. Nor does the app read any data off your phone. The user input, like the names of the players, are forgotten as soon as the app is closed. This may change in the future, as I intent to add a feature where the user can add personal cards as well, which the app would have to store somehow. Of course, this privacy policy will be updated to account for such changes should this feature be added.
Drunken Ducklings is one of those games that doesn't have a clear ending or winner, as the goal is not to win the game, but to have fun whilst playing. This does mean that the game may continue to tell you to drink. Please remember that alcohol is dangerous and should not be consumed by anybody under the legal drinking age.
