Welcome to my website. My name is Joep Eijkemans and I’m an aspiring game developer. I have completed the Bachelor Creative Technology and the Master Interaction Technology at the University of Twente. This website serves as my business card, portfolio, as well as my own little online playground.
Find out moreBoth my Bachelor Creative Technology and Master Interaction Technology have taught me a wide variety of technical skills. The projects I did varied immensely; I've made robots, animated videos, websites, games, technical art installations, and apps. On top of this I also do a lot of smaller tinkering projects as a hobby, which only add to the diversity. In short, if something has a cord attached to it, I’ve probably played around with it. Have a look at my portfolio to see some of these projects. Altogether, these projects have taught me a broad spectrum of technical skills. But as for the services I offer, I focus on the ones that I enjoy the most and I am the most proficient at: Web Design, Game Development, and App Development. A bit more about me: I love video games, both playing and making them, but I’m also interested in other forms of media such as film. I love animals, cooking, boxing, and going out with my friends. If you’re interested in learning more about me, feel free to contact me via the contact section.
My servicesMy portfolio makes up the bulk of this website. In order to keep this section concise, certain projects are grouped together in folders, as indicated by the icon on the top-right. The first folder contains some tinkering projects I did for fun, the second contains some Processing sketches, and the third is a collection of some SketchUp models I made. Hover over the images below for a short summary of that project or click on them to see the full page. Click on the button below for a more complete overview of all the projects on this website. The purpose of this website isn’t limited to the promotion of my services. Instead, I hope this collection of projects can serve as a source of inspiration for other tinkerers like me. My hope is to inspire others to create amazing and creative projects as I have enjoyed doing for the past years.
Portfolio overviewPlease note that each of these projects is a product of its time. A project from 2016 might not live up to the expectations now, but within the context in which it was created, it can still be a very successful project.
